   My name is Whitney G. and I'm a New York Times & USA Today bestselling author, coffee (& tea) obsessive, podcast lover, and a *whenever I can get to it* blogger here at The Indie Tea!

I started self-publishing in 2012 with $2.15 in my bank account and absolutely no clue what I was doing. I failed, learned, tried again, failed harder, and eventually built the career I have now — one book and one unhinged draft at a time.

Since then, I’ve written dozens of books, hit some bestseller lists, and somehow found readers in places I never imagined. It’s been a wild ride, but one I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Here, you’ll find a handful of older posts that are still evergreen, plus the occasional new one whenever inspiration shows up. No pressure, no “weekly this,” no big production — just a space that moves at whatever speed I have the bandwidth for. (And hey, since I’m a mom of a toddler now, that speed shifts all the time)
